Remember when they decided to start printing different pictures on the quarter? They made a HUGE deal about it and people started collecting them and putting them in books and stuff.
Did you know that they did it with pennies too?
Now, don't get me started on pennies....they are pretty useless - unless you are 3 and like pitching them into fountains. Ooooh, they are fun at the casinos.....penny slots....but let's be real, you put in a $20 to start your play - so you still don't need a penny.

Is it true that each penny costs 1 and 2/3 pennies to make? And these "crazy town" ones probably even more.
I just saw a new nickel today too. The front is completely different. I've never seen those pennies before...or did I know that they cost more to make than their worth! I agree with you Bryn, lets just get rid of pennies! I wonder how much it cost to redo the design?? Hmm...
