Nick and I love frozen yogurt. We are especially fond of the places that let you serve yourself and add your own toppings. We like them so much, that we try out new places while we are on vacation.
We stopped at Bali's Yogurt in SLO. It was WAY cheap compared to some of the other places we've been - but in general, we still prefer our local Fro Yo shops.
Tried belgian chocolate, vanilla swirl with crushed andes mints. Quite tasty.

We have some delicious fro-yo here, but you don't usually get to add your own toppings. My favorite is the melon or cheesecake fro-yo (but both we special flavors of the month, so they will probably not be there) with mochi at Tangysweet (http://www.tangysweet.com/). We'll have to go when you're here!
