Nick, Mochi and I went on a hike this past Sunday. The Sunol Regional Wilderness Park. We took this hike: http://www.bahiker.com/eastbayhikes/sunol.html
It was delightful, but not recommended for the summer.....a lot of wide open areas with no shade. And the grass will probably be brown.
There were a number of creeks that required fording. Mochi crossed the creeks like a champ!
